There is always going to be hypocrisy in religious organization like this one.
Men wearing expensive suits, gold watches and gold pinky rings.
The elders in my old Hall were the richest pretty much of the whole congregation , wearing the most expensive suits driving the most expensive cars and so on.
I remember one of the elders giving a Sunday talk, the topic was about seeking the ills of materialistic pursuits, he stepped away from the podium and I noticed he was wearing a real expensive silk hand tailored suit.
After the meeting myself and friend went outside and we noticed a brand new Luxury car, a black Cadillac with all the newest, well look who came out and asked " how so like my new car boys ? "
it was the elder who just gave a talk on materialism and pursuit of worldly possessions.

For that smart ass elder withy the attitude the OCD in me would of liked to key the paint ! I would never do it but the temptation would be there after the crapping he gave in his talk. One guy in my book study said it best to keep life simple as the end is very close. Year after he built a new mac mansion home with brickwork and expanded his metal shop to the tune of a couple million. That's ok in itself but the double standards are astounding. -

It's funny that this thread has been brought up. You know, there are so many parallels with the Borg and the illuminati.
Someone somewhere else pointed out all the parallels like ''new world'' said over and over. I remember when going in field service the ''big'' pioneers saying things like ''new world order''. Now you see these broadcasts of these high-Borg people wearing all kinds of jewelry on their pinkies and what not.
Coupled that with their history of Charles Russell gravesite with that ludicrous headstone shaped like a pyramid. One really has to start wondering if the Borg indeed is somehow involved with the Masons. All the billions of dollars of assets they have,control over their members, stuff like this.

You could say it has a portion of its roots from Freemasonry.
Of course it has some source theological ideas which C T Russell introduced himself that came from the influence of Freemasonry such as Pyramidology etc. Russell used Freemason Halls traveling about giving public talks. and which was used to create 1914 date and the Dispensational era theology..
The Pyramids of Egypt are entwined symbolically in Freemason teachings and is structured within its own doctrinal teachings, pertaining to the level of craft. ( Hierarchical Position)

when i try and take a look at the ring it resembles a Masionic ring.
How can you tell it resembles a Masonic ring from a few hundred pixels of it waving around in a video?
What differences would there be in a non-Masonic pinky ring, that would be identifiable from those same few hundred pixels?

Really guys do you think a GB member would walk around every day with a ring that has a Freemason symbol on it ?

People who work at the WTS. branches and or Bethel probably know what that symbol is from, they aren't that stupid ??? .

They have a club, definitely. The best 7 out of 144,000 club. Why is it no other anointed matters but those n the GB? Mind you, we recently had a WT study where they said been anointed is simply an invite, not a membership but somehow that doesn't apply to the GB in their castle which resides in the last world power according to the explanation for the prophecy.

@punkofnice You're not far off when you describe it as a "pedophile ring". In the original edition of the Learn From The Great Teacher book, the illustration of the pedophile depicted him wearing a pinky ring on his left hand. I wish I had it handy, but that book lives at my parents' house. So I just downloaded the digital version (blergh) and it appears the updated version has had the pinky ring edited out!
