I’ll be interested to see if after the election things change and we get back to some normalcy

It sure would be nice if we could just travel freely inside our own country. If a governor says a state is not good enough to get on the list , then you can’t even go to a neighboring state even if you are literally 5 minutes away. We have lost a lot of our rights.

    Min ....

We have not lost rights. Based on the way the system works, we have 50 fiefdoms. I don't necessarily like a lot of it but that's the way it is. Just like the electoral college. The people don't vote for the President, the States do. That's the way it is set up.

Why do you say you have lost rights? You have rights to do whatever you want in your State.

I’m talking about in this country. I should have the right to go visit family or friends without committing to staying for 14 days in a location that is not my home simply because a governor states that’s what his position is in his state. If the governor says He is implementing this new rule in seven days it’s arbitrary.

Like I said, and you know, we have 50 fiefdoms in this country. I don't like it either. But it's the way the system is rigged. The States have a lot of power under the system we live in.

Without the electoral only the votes of a few states would win and that is not fair.

Thankfully, states having power is a positive thing for humans - people today aren't exactly running/uprooting from nanny states and moving to another blue state unless it's an opportunity to good to turn down. Many are leaving great paying jobs and running - fast!

Once the election is over, the riots will disappear and so will the extremism for the virus.

Rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens,
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens,
Brown paper packages tied up with strings...
These are a few of my favorite things.
Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudles,
Door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles,
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings...
These are a few of my favorite things.
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes,
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes,
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things.
Oh....sorry I guess I can still enjoy all these things.....

    I miss ....

    Sex on the beach.

    Sex in the camper.

    Sex at the restaurant

    Sex at the B&B.

    Sex at my house.

    Sex at someone else's house.

    Sex.

Hmmm ... There seems to be a pattern here.

    That's pretty much it.

We have lost a lot of our rights.

While I agree and like your comment, I do not entirely believe we have "lost" our rights. There is a pretty big divide between "lost" and "given up". There have been too many who were, and still are, willing to accept government guidelines as law, and allow even the most useless mandates for the placebo feeling of safety, and to virtue signal that they are somehow more compassionate to retain the rights that were given up.

If one does not understand what I am saying there is no explanation possible, and for those who do no explanation is needed.
