Crazyguy, totally agree ;) the cult frowned it (locally at least) but once i was an elder it just dawned on me that it nobody really cared and it was stupid to not do something i enjoyed. You gotta live. What did you get?
Neverjw, i would never look down on a shadow! My first bike was a shadow, a 1984 that i rehabbed in 2000. Rode it till it got too slow for me and i bet someone else is still ridding it.

I had an 1100 Shadow. Nice cruising. Quality time. Just unloaded my 1200 Sportster. Lots more beastly of a ride. The new Triumphs are tempting me.
