The singing, the standing at attention , looking up at the screens, chest full of air, all are reminders of darker days in the past. Only the clicking of heels is missing, not the cliques though.

Are the GB that freaking obsessed with the condemnation of women that they cant ever sing a song along with the group that extols the benefit of some form of "Christian" activity or conduct?

They're real concern should be that they are addressing/singing to Jehovah directly without going through Jesus.

Coming out of another church to the t I realized how broken -gated the wt songs were. I always felt and this was later confirmed that the songs are written in such a way so they don't sound like 'hymns'. and for any jw to say how wonderful they are is a further evidence of no education this time in music and also how conditioned they are to 'wonderful' every time the wt sneezes.

There are several "singers" at the hall where I go who are truly, severely, tone deaf. They should be asked NOT to sing because it is distracting and their singing ruins the collective harmony.

I hear that! There is a yahoo in my area that sounds like he is trying to out Dylan Bob Dylan. He can't carry a tune in a bucket, yet he nearly yells the words. No singing just saying the words as loud as he can! And the one he yells the loudest? Gee-HO'-Vah!
