I think the new meeting was designed to help people set some new goals.
I have done that. My goal for 2016 (and beyond) is never to attend a CLAM. So far...........so good.

Less individualism = more control
more control = less independent thinking
By inducing less independent thinking, people are inclined to think amongst themselves and to create people murmuring and asking questions.

My take
1. The clam is more boring (than the TMS (didn't think that was possible)
2. Those 3 presentations every week are gonna get real old real fast
3. Having the book study at the end makes the meeting really drag on for me.

The society wants to pretend everything is perfect and the way to solve all their problems is simply to script everything so no one ever says anything embarrassing or that doesn't exactly replicate what they would say. But guess what, they are boring and predictable and brain dead. All this driving away individuality has ripped the soul out of their organization. I remember when there was something like some personality. It's been a long process, really, but they have succeeded. The TMS used to be my favorite of the meetings, because you might hear someone put their own thoughts to something and it would be refreshing. The ueber elders that assign themselves the ueber parts are seen above the podium again and again, can't remember the details that are said. Are they trying to make the 1-2-3 ministry demos more important than life? . These demonstrations, canned or live, are unrealistic, no sane person would allow this being imposed on them at the door. boring and irrelevant. It takes 75 000 hours of this ( not including the meeting time) to make one witness. no wonder.Link +3 / -0 -

First of all what the hell does CLAM stand for? it sounds like some kind of a sexually transmitted disease, "I GOT THE CLAM"
Second, I don't know why your so surprised, they never allowed room for individualism before hand. It stands to reason that the more power they get the worse they will become on that front.
& Third, "Listen, Obey & be Blessed. LOL.
