Hey, punkofnice! I don't know how active truthbookblues is nowadays, but his videos are still available on YouTube. Here's the link to the video you were talking about. Enjoy!

Something went wrong with this excellent video. Probably sabotaged. Wish the author would correct it.

    Thanks Radar.

Perhaps like many, myself included, the whole JW thing fades away.

I'm pretty much living an authentic life now. It's not how I wanted life to go, but at least it isn't false.

.....anyway ('anyways', with an 's' on the end, if you live over the Atlantic from me).....where were we, darlings?

If anybody has a good copy of the entire YouTube video linked above, please send me a PM or post a link so we all can enjoy it. Mine locks up at about the 3:26 mark.

Jehovah could grow the resurrected babies in supernatural wombs; Jehovah has the power to do anything . [This is a joke. I no longer believe in Jehovah but the idea of what Jehovah can do in regards to resurrections is consistent with scripture.]

punkofnice that is a great collection of quotes (which you posted on page 3 of this topic thread) of the WT contradicting itself (or changing its mind) multiple times.

But out of curiosity, could you document who before Russell taught 1914.

In 1823 an English Adventist, John Aquila Brown, wrote ‘The Even-Tide’, a book in which he stated that the ‘seven times’ of Daniel 4 should be taken as ‘a year for a day’ and were thus prophetic of 2,520 years, running (according to him) from the beginning of Nebuchadnezzar’s reign in 604 BC to 1917 AD. Calculating that the Gentile Times would end in 1914 was the work of Second Adventist N H Barbour in 1875. Russell adopted this (as well as the years 1874 and 1878) into his own biblical chronology the following year, and while all other WT dates have been abandoned, 1914 remains – ironic really since it didn’t originate with the WT in the first place.

I think it is wacky when they say that if Noah had not obeyed, they could have died, then we wouldn't be alive today.

    .....

Ok, but we wouldn't know that so it wouldn't matter to us.
