One mistake good people make is being too nice to those who won't appreciate it and will even weaponize it.

@ Kim Silvio,
Especially when it comes to ignorant people on Twitter.
Especially when it comes to ignorant people on Twitter.
Correct. I usually ignore them - but this one has annoyed me. I will stop 🤦♀️
I, too, have had the frustrating experience of wording a comment on something that's "just plain wrong" in an exceptionally gracious manner, and then having my "graciousness" weaponized against me. (I am not referring to anything on this thread,... just in case I might be misunderstood.)
I shouldn’t have tried to discuss the Lloyd evans situation with someone who chooses to be ignorant 🤦♀️🤦♀️
I'm not on twitter, Kim, so I missed seeing it. But, my condolences on your feathers having been unjustly ruffeled. It always takes me at least a day to get over it when that happens to me. Plus, it helps to get over it when I can tell it to a good friend who completely sees my point. :)

I'm glad you did. You never know when someone will read what we said and learn that we are not wrong about Lloyd. Say it loud and say it often, when it comes to truth our side has it and Lloyd's side is simply delusional.

The empathetic narcissist dynamic. Those who are on the NPC spectrum smell a good person from a mile away, they are very good at searching out those they know will serve them. Unfortunately, they really do turn on those that wise up to their tactics and will try to appeal to ones empathy. Why do you think those who have empathy go back again and again.
The watchtower uses the same tactics.
NonCoinCollector makes a good point, other people will see the conversation and have a look for themselves, if they weren't previously aware. Debates aren't just to convince the interlocutor, but to convince the audience, and to raise awareness in them.
This is why I did the tweet about calling the suicide hotline on Lloydy... If he is going to use suicide threats as a manipulating mechanism, then let's have the authorities show up to do a welfare check.
