The idea that Lloyd is paid/controlled opposition is kind of laughable to me. If it's paid opposition then WT truly is stupid and so is Lloyd. It also would mean that Kim would have to be paid/controlled by the opposition since she blew the whistle on Lloyd which was all part of the plan right? That's where it all starts falling apart. WT and Lloyd are so skilled they hatched a years-long plan to get Kim to tell on Lloyd but also Lloyd and WT are so dumb they often stumble on the most basic of easy-to-contain issues.
It makes way more sense that he has always been a manipulative narcissistic man baby who was good at shouting over people because his content made for better YouTube viewing to those who just exited. Now he just pulled a stunt that instead of dividing a small chunk, united the masses against him.
By the way if anyone has any actual evidence please reach out to me as I have the contact info a legit journalist in the UK who would be able to verify it's actually real. Everytime I've made this offer it's always met with radio silence which makes me even more suspect.

I don't think that Evans and Watchtower are consciously working together. Neither of them cares about the well-being of their followers,... or anyone else. Watchtower can point to Evans and say, "This can happen to you if you leave Watchtower." And Evans can point to Watchtower and say, "You waste your life if you stay in Watchtower." Each uses the other as a cautionary tale.
1 John 5:19 says, " We know that we are of God, and that the whole world is under the power of the evil one." Satan is happy with both Watchtower's false doctrines and Evans' raunchy lifestyle.

Lloyd Evans has never been the main apostate....there's so many others far better known and who've done the initial important work. Lloyd has just read their work on You tube for god's sake.
Now if they could have somehow destroyed Ray Franz's credibility that would have been worthwhile!!
All a you tuber does is reach tons more kids with low concentration spans....since kids are their only converts it would shoot Watchtower right in the foot!

That's why I would take that video down if I was KM Marie. Either Kim Silvio must also work for watchtower (or Lloyd), or her cousin doesn't exist.

As for being "controlled opposition". You can be damaging to a cause (so ultimately beneficial to the "enemy") without any paid or organized collusion.
I think this is a more accurate description of the situation. He's elbowed people out of the way, silenced other voices, and then discredited himself - living up to the caricature of how an apostate will behave once they "leave the truth".
If you become a poster child that the WTS can use to say "see, look how people fall apart when they leave - abusing their spouse by using prostitutes ..." then there doesn't need to be an ongoing relationship or any "control" for that person to affectively be opposition to the very thing they claim to be fighting for or supporting.
But I don't think the overly-dramatic video helps or is really convincing. Like Evans, it probably does more harm than good, so personally I would distance myself from it. Things like that chip away at your credibility and reflect on your judgement IMO.

I can't believe there are gullible people who believe stupid stuff like this video by KM Marie. It seems that the only credentials a person needs is to make a YouTube video and they'll have ex JWs believe them. Why can't they use their reasoning powers?
