  I can't remember if I posted anything on that thread, and I'm too tired at the moment to read through the whole thing. However, in general, I've been trying to offer up some clarity on the meaning of all these big awards against the watchtower.

  I was looking for your name in that thread but I didn’t see it. There were a few names that popped up - particularly a 14000 (not exact number) username who also seemed quite knowledgeable.

  It astounds me. I am not an accountant and horrible at maths and would defer to an accountant on accountancy matters - even taxation law.

  This 14000 appeared to have quite sound legal knowledge and has some sort of legal background, I would guess a lawyer based on the level of knowledge.

  Lloyd placated him initially and then started attacking him when he continued to raise legal facts about Lloyd’s article. Wow!

  I find it particularly interesting that he couched his comments in “we are having a conversation” and “I’m open to criticism” ….. and then when the questions and comments got to hard to answer and he realised that he had erred, he attacked.

  The more I learn about lloyd the less I understand how he got to where he did and why people continued to accept his “facts” as gospel 🤷‍♀️

  Lloyd feels threatened by people who have no fear of him and are not afraid to confront him. In the Patterson thread you’ll notice that in his arguments with slimboyfat, the banning of Nathan Natas was mentioned.

  There was a popular poster named Oompa that committed suicide. A lot of people here were upset, particularly those who had a personal in real life relationship with him. It started getting out of hand though, with several Oompa memorial threads popping up one after another with different agendas. There was an evangelical who kept invoking Jesus, which contrasted with his real life beliefs. NN tangled with Lloyd on one of these threads, making the point that dragging it out wasn’t doing anyone any good. I’d link the threads but all of NN’s posts were deleted. Lloyd’s comments about him are still up though.

  From what I was told, Lloyd chased NN into PM and NN clapped back that he was not letting this drop. Lloyd felt he had enough for a ban and got his wish, taking it to sure management. For months afterwards whenever it was brought up, Lloyd claimed it was threatening to both him and his wife, though his wife wasn’t even on the forum yet.

  People became very afraid of the guy and Lloyd really banged that drum if you were getting into it with him. He’d threaten to tattle on you to Simon and even had the forum guideline you allegedly violated handy.

  When things began to turn and it was obvious it was really Lloyd being there problem and source of all drama, people started clamouring for the return of NN and sbf, who was banned as a result of the Patterson thread. Lloyd is quite adept at getting in front of things, so he started making comments like this.

  
  

  He was actually claiming that he desired reinstatement for the very people he wanted banned in the first place! He does this all the time. He knew the tide was turning on him so he made it look like it was his idea. Eventually NN was let back on too, but NN didn’t let Lloyd off the hook so easily:

  
  

  Not only is Lloyd a liar and a coward, but very disingenuous. It’s safe to say there will never be another Lloyd Evans because people know exactly what happens when you enable someone the way he is.

  Now it’s just a matter of getting people to move on from Lloyd entirely.

  I sincerely hope not, the more I learn the more I realise how stunted and damaged the community has been by him 🤦‍♀️

  His true colours became evident on this forum and not only was he all about self serving, he had a habit of leaving a destructive trail behind himself.

  In relative terms it didn't take long for Simon to ban him permanently but there was another forum that was oblivious to his schemes.

  Ex JW Reddit welcomed and supported the God like praise that LLoyd enjoyed for many years. It pay rolled his climb to ex JW fame (on that forum). But when moderators over there realised their complete bias and refused to play his game Lloyd hit back with his threat to resign after someone was not kind to him. No one really cared, his outburst was like that of a two year old and a lot of ex JWs started to see him in a different light. It was the beginning of a very slow and painful death for Lloyd until Kim Silvio came along and exposed Lloyd in such a way that no one could ignore and backed up by his own confirmations. It proved to be the perfect earthquake, swallowing up most of his support.

  Unfortunately, other than Lloyd himself, it was ex JW Reddit that has proven to be responsible for the support and praise that he received and ultimately led to many, not just hundreds, but thousands of ex JWs thinking he was someone worthy of their respect.

  I think Ex JW Reddit has learnt a huge lesson from this.

  I wish they silenced lloyd as quickly as they did me. I have said some outrageous stuff (by my standards) on this forum and have never been told to shut up, stop swearing (which I never did on Reddit) or anything else. I stopped going on Reddit about a year ago as I couldn’t comment there in a polite way after the whole scandal without being dragged by the mods. In the end I gave up.

  I like it here, so many interesting threads to read, debate, intelligent people.

  Reddit may be a nice place, but this is home for me.

  I was banned from a UK Facebook recovery group back in 2014 because I dared to speak out against the lord a savior Lloyd Evans. Oh, but he is doing good work was the cry!

  Ex-JW Reddit forum is huge to be sure. I'm on it every day. However, you really have to have a measure of self-control to post there, take breaks, and also realize that ALL of Reddit is basically a leftist echo-chamber of virtue-signalling, pansies being "triggered", and a place for them to sound off against ANYTHING even remotely leaning to the "Right." And I say that as someone who's more in the middle than Left or Right!

  Lloyd really did wear out his welcome there though, after he basically tried to hijack the Sub and intimidate the mods, constantly argue with them, etc. He then when to his old standby: "You can't fire me, cause I quit!!!!" and then he stomped off with a fat lip and created his own Reddit sub, which nobody but a few select brain dead LE fans even frequents anymore. Hell, I'm not sure if it's even still up?
