If they ever did stock a fridge, they'd probably make a JW Broadcasting video about it called "Cold Food for All", cut with interviews with a crying sister. The scuttlebutt would he that a prominent Maytag executive asked the society for advice, and then 100 years from now JWs would be talking about how the society invented the refrigerator.

NEAT BLUE DOG:
This picture makes me positively ill.
Somebody of any age that has an empty refrigerator like this should be at their local food bank and getting some other assistance! Nobody in their right mind waits til the last damn minute down to their last bean to do something about their situation!!
I wonder if the people who post illustrations with the suggestion that OTHER people do without have an empty refrigerator? I doubt it. I’m sure they eat well.
The idea that any religion expects anybody to be living on the bare edge of existence and thinks they are going to put money in a contribution box is too much to tolerate!
DAYS OF FUTURE PASSED:
They will most certainly expect other Witnesses in the hall to provide. Meanwhile, some of them may have been criticized for having a full time job like I was. I’m very glad I am out of this religion for many reasons but the hypocrisy cannot be tolerated by me.

Run by a church no doubt.

Government assistance I assume.
Funny how 'Satan's World' provides.

And that coin in the box subsidises the 5 star lifestyle of those that live in a Bubble at Bethal.

I was appalled when I saw this watchtower. Just recently I heard of a case of a 62 year old sister on her last dime, trying to do odd jobs, no money, no savings, no retirement, but a "good sister" (as in, went out in service a lot).
Well guess what, she just had a car accident. Hurt, car totaled, needed medical care she has no insurance for. Did anyone give her any real help? No, partly because no one else has any money! She has to go live with her "worldly" son. (Said like it's a bad thing.)
This article is undue influence. But really, if a person can't see through this sham, they are also to blame.
Cult!

It seems that the situation has become so desperate that it's necessary for the poor, even those close to starving, to give so that the fridges in Warwick can be fully stocked. It was Morris who bragged about having an open pantry, providing free basics for Bethelites.

AND, yet in most countries the orgnaization has CHARITY status!
BUT when their members need food - where is the charity food drive from the kingdom hall? Yeah...nowhere to be seen...

@stuckinarut2
THAT makes me a little crazy, to think they get away with being labeled a "charity". Sheesh!

Oh come on, in that "artists depiction" of how to abuse the elderly out of their money there is clearly a modest size container of air that will keep her going until she can sell the container and donate that 20cents also.
