What if you attend and refuse to handle the glass and the plate because of the virus being transmitted?
Perhaps they will hand out disposable gloves to everyone in attendance.up front.

Double-tongued standards again: a comment made by a jw.Notice the obedience to governments mandate but when it comes to protecting children for paedos, and reporting to the police "no sir we cover-it-up"
"No. the bethelites come and go. Just no Gilead Graduation nor tourists. There will be no touring at this point for whatever time they seem reasonable or deemed. They are paying close attention to the news and ready to obey any government mandate to secure safety of the citizens".
Follow Government Recommendations and Directives. Local authorities often implement precautions or restrictions for public health. It is good to keep informed and comply with the government’s directives.
Convenience memory lapse.

I am curious to see if my mom invites me this year. I have gone to the last 5, I would say. But this time I am df'd and my parents probably have labeled me an apostate, so I doubt it!
If they were smart which I kinda doubt they would make everyone there put on plastic gloves when the emblems are passed.
I'd like to see that just for a laugh
I bet somewhere a JWS during a prayer will say something about this recent virus and say we look forward to your new kingdom paradise when there will be no plagues and viruses to inflict mankind .
All the JWies will think awww paradise I cant wait
It would be interesting to put on plastic gloves when the emblems are passed and see the reaction.

No way. I wouldn't want anyone thinking I might support such a farcical misrepresentation of communion.
Yes, I will.
I'm on my way out, but not fully there yet. It hurts me to see my wife so disappointed, so I'm going to be there by her side until she gets used to the idea that I'm no longer a believer. Or, at least, until I just can't take it anymore.
I'm not afraid of COVID-19. Of course, I don't want to get sick, but unless it mutates and becomes more deadly, I think people are wildly overreacting.
By all means, take measures to protect children and the elderly in affected areas, but we shouldn't feel the need to completely dismantle our way of life for a virus that most people can lick in a few days with mild symptoms.
As much as they look forward to the new system, no JW wants to take advantage of their resurrection privileges, early so I think they'll have an on line celebration and each JW can have their own bread and wine at home to pass around and not partake of.
At least all the poor pimos, relatives and friends who get dragged along every year to keep the peace as their JW dear ones keep flogging a dead horse and trying to keep attendance up, will have a great excuse to just say NO this year!
