Mark Sanderson. His tie. Am I seeing things? Is Sanderson wearing a jworg tie?? Or was that tie just carefully picked to match corporate colors?

The suit on the extreme left is none other than Paul Gillies, a prominent Britain Branch Committee member - as well as being a leading light in the European Association of Jehovah's Christian Witnesses. He is almost certainly in Russia as a representative of the the latter - the E.A.J.C.W.
In this position, he attended/attends seminars of the O.S.C.E. - Europe's subsidiary of the U.N. - aka the wild beast in J.W. circles.

I can understand Sanderson's interest and placement in this theatrical drama.
Baby Face Mark came up the ranks of the Hospital Information Services. He was a big cheese in the HLC. What this potential ban will mean for the WTS, would be the disbanding of the HLC network in Russia. If the Admin Center is banned, the Hospital Information Services will also be tossed.
Sanderson's appearance at this court hearing is a testament to the WTS' interest in keeping their bloodless hooks in Russia. They have been grooming that market since back in the 90s.

The SOB,s want an audio broadcast of the trial! When its their asses on the line they want the world to witness the trial. But when they corner poor Jdubs into a JC they won't allow a witness or a lawyer into the proceedings.

Is it just me or do the smug smiles on the JW hierarchy look wholly inappropriate. They could at least pretend a degree of gravitas. They look as though they are taking selfies on the Moscow court tour. (Three hours, free vodka in GUM after the tour. Pick up at your hotel)

Orphan Crow. It is a small detail but it is an important detail. HLC is the Hospital Liaison Committee which is at the local level. Hospital Information Desk is who the HLCs will report to, that desk is within the Service Departments at branches around the world. Hospital Information Services is where Sanderson was, is a World Headquarters Department that falls under one of the Governing Body Committees, and the HIDs will report to that department.
