Thanks mate. I think you will have to go into a clinic to cope with caffeine withdrawal. Here's a nice mug of camomile tea, whatever that is.
On the memo,
Those who do not think that they will have the circumstances to reach the annual hour requirement once the pandemic subsides should not be approved as new regular pioneers.
Now they say it. They have signed up bucketloads of pioneers during the pandemic because there is currently no hour requirement. Such foresight eh?

Gad, what a bunch of maroons.
How many 10's of thousands of pioneer applications have been approved by elders from JWs eager for the "cachet" of being called a "pioneer" but who aren't able to get even 1/4 the normally required hours?
So apparently it never occurred to the WTS brain trust that current pioneers would be excitedly talking about how there is no hour requirement to anyone & everyone, and nitwit elders would "encourage" JWs to pioneer, mentioning as it does in their COVID guidelines that "there is no hour requirement even for newly appointed pioneers".
And now, 3 months later, as they see those 10's of thousands of new pioneers, all getting the same 10 or 15 hours per month as they did when they were "just publishers", they think, "gee, maybe we should have provided a little more guidance".
Idiots.

Reducing the book study to allow a GB update is fine by me. 10 minutes material to fill 30.
Some of us wondered about the pioneer push at the time

They keep the flock busy.
That's what it is.

Please use good Judgement as you encourage those publishers to reach out for Regular Pioneer service.....
Those who do not think that they will have the circumstances to reach the annual hour requirement once the pandemic subsides should not be approved as new regular pioneers.Just seeing the term "reach out" in print after all these years, still gives me the creeps.
As followers of Jesus who pride themselves on strictly adhering to his example, it's heartwarming to see that they use the biblical terms "publisher, pioneer and auxiliary pioneer" the way Jesus did and have a set hourly quota the way he had for his Disciples.

Ah yes, let's all have a video promoting the governing body front and center, and skip anything about "holy spirit".
Pretty well shows where their focus is!
