By the way an inguinal hernia is an example of poor design resulting from the process of evolution from our fish ancestors.

Take it easy for a few days, Fisherman. Don't push yourself and give yourself time to heal. I had the same surgery over 10 years ago. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Good news Fisherman. Recovery is different for all of us. Sometimes it's a straight line and you just feel a little better every day but sometimes you can't accomplish that and it feels like your standing still or even pushed back a little. Think of how a sailboat gets to where it's going. You tac sideways a bit or wait to catch a fresh breeze.

Thanks to everyone for your kind support during my recovery. 11 days now since the surgery and not fully recovered but getting there. I am really happy it is behind me now. Giordano, thanks for the info. I experienced the sailboat effect you mentioned. It has been smooth for a couple of days now.

Glad you had it done, Fisherman! I'm sure that you have been advised what activities to avoid. As a laborer, I had to wait some time to resume the heavy-duty stuff.

All right now in that department.

    Best wishes.
