Today was resting and then exploring. We went to a local free museum. Had a great time. This evening will be cleaning and laundry to get ready for the week. I LOVE my weekends now.

I'm sleeping late and making coffee, calling Dad and watching Sunday Housecall.
I agree with Steve2. Who needs the manufactured urgency promoted by the religion? JWs are like hamsters in a cage spinning a wheel. Their busy-making work is simply a visible yardstick to measure how "faithful" the JWs are, in my opinion.
If they had any kind of "warning work" they would be using the mass media.

Sunday morning meetings sucked balls that's for sure.
I like going for drives on Sunday's in rural areas, often at the peak of traction and mechanical load. I have been blessed with many great roads which are available locally, and a performance car. There is plenty of beautiful country around the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Jehovah's marvellous qualities clearly seen in his abundance of creation.

We met my youngest son and his wife for breakfast at their neighborhood cafe . Had a good time catching up ,and discussing his new hobby interests. Talked with our daughter in law about the masters degree she is currently working on ,and how tired she is working full time while taking classes.
After we visited with them we headed to a few stores to pick up items for our outdoor lighted Christmas display . We entered the city wide contest for best light display . (We won last year ! and would love to do it again this year )
I love my weekends now so much . When we were witnesses weekends were just so stressful . I hated having to rush around on Saturday to go out in service ,especially when I knew I had so much to get done at home before the next work week . If we didn't go out in FS then I would feel guilty all weekend . Sundays ,another morning wasted going to a boring meeting listening to yet another guilt inducing talk about doing more . Do not miss that life what so ever .

Started the day with some blueberry waffles at 10 am because we love to sleep in now. Then did some Christmas shopping ending the day with my husband grilling up some dinner since it was still pretty warm today. I love our weekends. -

I'm a bit late but I relaxed and watched some sports and then went xmas card and gift shopping for the few non-dub friends I have plus my kids.
Sooo nice.
