Yep 1975 + 50 = 2025.
Oops is there a zero year that I missed? If so maybe it's 2026. My guess is as good as theirs!

Yes, with the scriptures and a little imagination you can validate any so-called prophetic date. Before 1879 many dates were used, the WTS just borrowed them or fused 2 or more together.

Didn`t the book "Paradise lost Paradise Regained" book also state that a creative day was 7,000 years long ?
Which gave the impression to some that the JW/WT were saying that Creation only began Approximately 50,000 years ago which was absurd.
Later on JW/WT went on to to say, explaining Gen.1;1 that it could have happened millions of years ago a blanket statement of fact.,however the rest of Genesis from Gen.1:2 onward was only dealing with God`s purpose for the Earth .

Even the Society aren't daft enough to promote particular dates now. Other than the bizarre "overlapping generation" workaround( which buys them another 40 years or so ) , there isn't any kind of year that they are even hinting at at the moment.
Their modus operandi is like the dodgy double glazing firm that promises a constant "70% off in the sale - must end tomorrow" and has done successfully for the last 30 years. You know in your heart that it is just a marketing pitch but on some level you just get suckered into it.
