It's not about witnessing. Most people on this forum are aware of these topics. It's about presenting these facts in a different light.

    Hi Godbeliever,

    Thanks for your input.

Do you believe God is going to permanently destroy 7 billion or so at Armageddon

If so, who do you believe will survive the destruction? For example, do you believe only faithful Jehovah's Witnesses have that scriptural hope?

And what do you envision will happen to those who die before the tribulation starts?

@GodBeliever: I like the Brian Cox quote, he makes a really good point. It seems rather unarguable that if you want a resolution, this may simply be an artifact of human thought and that the world will still just exist without making sense to any primate brains. But if the laws of physics leave no room for a deity, why would you need one? it would seem very unnecessarily complex.

What is your argument for any deity that I can’t apply to any other deity or a teapot for that matter?

It makes sense : If people can believe that a GOD has no beginning and no end ?

The same could be said said about the Universe ? Why not ?

Why is there something rather than nothing ? Why not ?

The universe might be eternal there may be no beginning .

And now for my own two cents worth :

How do we know whether or not the Universe itself is a living thing

So the reality is ,there is no Armageddon,Great Tribulation its all in a book of fiction written two thousand years ago.

Probably one of the first SCI-Fi / Fantasy series of books ever produced.

BRIAN COX said he "strongly suspected" that the universe "existed before" the Big Bang, throwing the theory of our origins on its head.

"Ironically, the prevailing cosmological model explaining the existence of the observable universe from the earliest known periods through to today was first suggested by a Belgian priest named Georges Lemaître in the 1920s.He theorised that the universe began from a single primordial atom. This has been built on by scientists through the years, and is widely accepted to be the event behind our origins. But, according to Prof Cox, there was a time before this; a time before the Big Bang in which the universe did exist. He made the case for this line of argument during 'Universe', and explained: "We know that 13.8 billion years ago, this space that I'm standing in now, and the space you're standing in now, and all the space out to the edge of the observable universe, containing two trillion galaxies, was very hot and veer dense and has been expanding ever since.

"Now, that implies that way back, everything was closer together.

"Everything was contained in a very small speck.

But, how small was that speck? And how did it come to be?

"We used to think that the universe emerged in that state, very hot and very dense, at the beginning of time.

"And we used to call that the Big Bang.

"But now, we strongly suspect that the universe existed before that."

This new theory is closer to the bible account that God has no beginning and he was alone before anything was created. We don't really know what God is and how big the universe is because we don't have anything to compare with. We are locked in our physical bodies on this planet earth.

    jeremiah 23

“Am I a God who is near,” declares the Lord,“And not a God far off?
Can a person hide himself in hiding placeSo that I do not see him?” declares the Lord.
“Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the Lord.

Isaiah 66This is what the Lord says:“Heaven is My throne and the earth is the footstool for My feet.Where then is a house you could build for Me?And where is a place that I may rest? For My hand made all these things,So all these things came into being,” declares the Lord.“But I will look to this one,At one who is humble and contrite in spirit, and who trembles at My word.

    Hi Vanderhoven

You probably know the answers to these questions as they are presented in Jehovah witnesses teachings. Why would I be different if I agree with such teachings. However, being part of a human organization does not guarantee anyone's salvation. As one might think that Jehovah Witnesses are just those that currently associate with WT might be wrong. The bible calls witnesses all those who make a stand for Jehovah (the God of the Bible) and his Son and speak about his purpose as stated in the Bible. As the parable of sheep and goats shows some of these 7 billion will have the opportunity to hear the gospel and they will be placed either to the right or the left of Jesus when He does the judgement according to their decision. It's entirely to Him to decide who is wicked or not . For the rest who do not have the opportunity to hear or to make an informed decision either before or during the Armaggedon God's rule does not change, for them will be a judgement day and it applies Rev. 20:12. 7

    Psalm 145:17-20

The Lord is righteous in all His ways,And kind in all His works.
The Lord is near to all who call on Him,
To all who call on Him in truth.
    He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He will also hear their cry for help and save them
The Lord watches over all who love Him, But He will destroy all the wicked.

GB. the bible does not say that. The approved ones are doers of true. humanitarian deeds, not preaching drones of wt inc. and:

There was no universe before the big bang, only eternal uncreatable energy and eternal time for energy to exist in. In the Big beginning some energy was changed into matter, and 3D space was created to hang the material into. For the human family, fighting is not a good survival strategy. hopefully the remote father of it all will see to that.
