My parents were so proud that I finished my homeschool highschool in two years that they signed me up for the full time ministry. Lucky me. When I made the break at 18 I found out how worthless my dimploma was. California has the junior colleges and that's helped a lot.
Mom and Dad are having a tougher time keeping me away from those worldly guys now.
A lesson for those who are thinking about home schooling their children:
Don't. Unless you really know your shit. And please don't do it just because you are trying to protect isolate your children from the world. You won't be doing them any favors.
Obiwan, I was also homeschooled for a while, and was short-changed by the experience. Sorry you had this setback, but hey, here's to getting back up on your horse.
