Interesting, Christ does appear though. I wonder why it seems to be left out on the WOL glossary?

I wonder if anyone wants to call WT headquarters and ask? Or humbly point it out to an elder and ask about it.

Perhaps they don't want members to realize numerically the importance given to Jesus name by NT authors

The WTBTS is a very successful Cult. Whether they have one or two very intelligent and devious individuals in the ranks or have discovered their formula for success through trial and error is a matter up for debate. However, I agree with Vanderhoven7.

When studying the old NWT and using the footnotes religiously, ( pun intended ) one could learn that the WTBTS was not teaching the message of the Gospels. I am a firm 💯% believer that the Revised NWT was tactic to combat the problem of Dubs actually studying the Bible.

Studying the Bible will lead a person away from the WTBTS and the leaders know this. It is a problem that has been slowly manifesting itself over decades. Think of all the major problems that have finally started to converge with one another like new evidence for 587 not 607, the general decline of Xianity, the Abuse issues, The Information Age, the rising of partakers, the failing of the Generation doctrine, etc.

All these issues are overlapping, if you will, and causing major issues for the Cult. If you think about it, someone at HQ knew that things were becoming so bad that rebranding ( a tactic to retain disenfranchised consumers ) and selling off 1 Billion in property and getting out of NYC was considered a priority.

Also, going through the WTBTS CD library in a very thorough manner was very eye opening as well, and we know they have no problem altering their articles with out telling the sheeple. They have no shame and have deliberately passed up many, many, many opportunities to praise Jesus in their magazines, instead they demoted him to an errand boy for Jehovah and prominently feature the Governing Popes.

I cant wait for the Cult to die. The sooner the better.

Excellent analysis, Data-Dog. I think many don't even delve into research at all but can't stand the pain of being a part of the "Cult." Hearing the one scripture alone hit me like a ton of bricks at meeting about the tying of heavy, unbearable, loads, religious "Cult" demands plus no recognition of fruits -- love -- bla bla. One doesn't have to be a theologian to get a clue thus their dismal retention rate.

I have to say that I firmly accept that the JW elders I knew followed the example described in the Bible when they gathered together for their meetings. I have no doubt whatsoever in my mind.

They copied the Pharisees with their nit-picking to a T.
