A two-word response to this elder comes to mind: Prove it! How can that elder prove the Governing Body are trusted by Jehovah and Jesus.
Do ya recall when JW's winning of Court Cases (49 of 50) following WWII was "evidence" of Joe Hoover's blessing? So what does it now mean when the JW/GB are getting their asses handed to them repeatedly in all the CSA lawsuits? It's costing them (I mean, their contributors) MILLION$ and MILLION$!

Similar to their claiming jhoover puts 2 bags of groceries at the door of 2 hungry pioneers, just in time for lunch. I’ve never heard of anyone witnessing this kind of charity. Tall tales only simpletons swallow.
