Take it from someone who was reinstated last March and will be disfellowshipped again this week. The elders will really put you through it particularly if you are a woman, I have just had 14 months of hell. Elders now know that people are getting reinstated just to have contact with their families and after reinstatement they will hound you and check up on you to find reasons to kick you out again. Be prepared for an awful time. x

What you need to do is find a Church with real people to talk to, who will introduce you to the love of Jesus Christ.

If for social reasons you want to meet with a relaxed theologically liberal church who could not care less what you believe then fair enough.

Otherwise why would you swap one set of superstitions for another?
