Suppose a loved one of yours was brutally murdered and the weapon was submitted to the court as evidence. Would you try to gain possession of the murder weapon, take photographs of it, and print many copies for distribution? Would you produce replicas of the weapon in various sizes? Would you then fashion some of them into jewelry? Or would you have these reproductions commercially manufactured and sold to friends and relatives to be venerated? Likely you would be repulsed at the idea! Yet, these very things have been done with the cross!

But children drawing a woman who is being murdered is so much better!

That account where the people got spiked through the genitals would be a real crowd pleaser!

And the next scene in the series -

Lot commits incest with his daughters ...

I really wish more people would connect the dots.

It's interesting that Mrs. Lot is turning into salt before she even leaves the city. She is turning around so soon. Most illustrations have her on a mountainside looking back. I just thought it was interesting. Kill her! Kill her! Jehovah, kill her! A new cheer for all who are dear as the end will soon appear.

To my utmost surprise - yes it is. Couldnt believe my eyes. This seems way out of line, even for a jw. And i can see it has been there for years.. This is pretty disturbing for many, many, reasons. Some reasons even taught jo jw´s.

    The link to the drawing.

What is interesting is that the story of Lot's wife is a mythic interpretation of a natural occurrence.

The natural salt formation, that the Lot's wife myth developed from, does stand on the mountainside:

Its the purpose of this manipulative education for children to achieve a new impressive measure in hammering Gods rigor into the brains of little children.

The artists have been invograted and trained to produce this kind of art by rigid Watchtower education. They dont care about the feelings of children or of outsiders any more. Modesty and decency would be good teachers, but they dont care .

With the now gotten internet presence their depraved brains think that they are allowed to produce each dung that they can image and that nobody can stop them.

I am curious how this story will be pictured in the new publishes story book of 2017. Is it more about obidience or about looking forward.

The following is an article about Lots wife by the Protestan Academy Berlin. A lot of modern interpretation of the story even as comfort and salt of the earth!

If one does not understand this history as submission to the will of God, do they perhaps understand as a warning of the fixation on the past? a lot of preachers do this. They read the prohibition to turn around as a challeng,to leave behind the things of the past. Only so would we be free, our vocation too and to take on the future tasks. The Bible is characterized by the future. That is why Jesus says "No one to his hand, Has laid the plow and looks back, is fit for the kingdom of God. " (Luke 9:62)
