On numerous other occasions, she has denied saying anything remotely resembling the statement credited to her. In response to her critics, she offered: "What I did say was that I love my people, black people, and I will continue to make music for them."

Now that sounds made up. It sounds like a PR nightmare and someone came into clean it up. I bet MTV edited the tape. They knew their arse was in a sling.

Yes, I've heard that crap before to" Minorities CANNOT be racist as they are oppressed etc., etc.,. So I just say, "Fine, your not a racist, your a bigot!" That usually shuts them up.

Believe what you want too. I consider you a racist anyway. You are quick to believe anything negative about blacks in general. But again I ask you where is your proof?

It's not racist to say that racism exists. Herein lies the crux of the matter this is exactly what happened to Lauryn Hill. The same thing that avishai and Wednesday are doing now is the same way it always happens.

If you step on my foot and I say "ouch" that is simply a reaction to what you did. I've noticed that alot of people don't really even wont to hear that racism exists. Lets not confuse a response to racism vs a truly racist statement.
