Truth is something that can be proven conforming to freedom from falsehood.
There are middle grounds in between both extremes. Pure truth and pure falsehood. One thing is certain: When there are two conflicting or opposite statements, either one of them is true and the other one false or both are false. Both conflicting statements cannot be true.
If a person consideres her/himself to be part of the truth, s/he must always modify his or her beliefs to follow that whis has been proven to be true. It is a mark of a a closed mind or a cult not to be able to keep yourself informed of other ideas. This included completely opposite former beliefs.
I wonder how many people calling themselves in the truth would have the courage to read Joseph Wheless' books "Is It God's Word?" and "Forgery In Christianity". Joseph Wheless was never a JW, so the WT cannot say you are reading apostate books. His books were published in 1926 and 1930. He was a judge and an ambassador to Mexico, so he looks at the bible from a lawyer's point of view. You can buy them through Amazon. com.You can also see them in full online at http://www.infidels.org/library/historical/joseph_wheless/index.shtml.
Another favorite site of mine is http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/. I like it because you can go to the left and read verse by verse about the contradictions, injustices, absurdities, cruelties, intolerances, insults to women, family values, false prophecies, sex, science and prophecies, foul language, homosexuality, and lately they added a section about Jehovah Witnesses. They have a section about good stuff, in case you still take the bible as the literal word of god. I dare you to compare this bible to the NWT. You can take the right side and examine them individually.

Now, if after reading these sites you still think are in the truth I will return to the WT.
