"Nothing in Biology makes sense except in the light of evolution" - totally agree with this.
For instance: infanticide. Male lions taking over a pride and then killing all the cubs only makes sense in the light of the incoming males ensuring that the next generation contains their genes and not that of rival males. Killing the cubs also bring the females into heat as soon as possible.
How do creationists explain infanticide?
Not a nice example but unfortunately this is reality. Evolution deals with reality.

How do creationists explain infanticide? --for the jw creationist kind, It's satan's fault. Perhaps A&E had a daughter too, timed between the boys, and the real reason Abel got killed by Cain was that he wanted to keep his genes moving forward. -

"for the jw creationist kind, It's satan's fault - Adam & Eve, blah blah blah ..."
I don't want to take this thread off-topic, but that wouldn't explain infanticide among non-human species.

just playing "devil's advocate" here, since the bible god kills his creation, his "children" and his "sovereignty" adversaries' en masse himself, why would his creation not reflect these 4 wonderful qualities? 1) eagle (wisdom) kicks rivals out of the nest, 2) lion (courage) kills rival offspring. 3) humans, (love) Israel kings killing all male predecessors' children . 4) bull (power) -- bull---!. Divine behaviour assures that only the ferocious survive.

In evolution it is often those best equipped to cooperate that prosper.
