My word they really are forgetting what they even believe anymore. I know of no other religion that has to backtrack so much to keep their members.
"May", "another possibility", "evidently", "another plausible explanation", "perhaps" etc f^ck me...
To the JWs lurking here, maybe you'd be better of just studying the bible on it's own and forming your own conclusion. It's less embarrassing and you dont have to keep updating your beliefs and no one will ask you to die due to a medical procedure they Jehovah "maybe, kinda-sorta, evidently meant" when he said abstain from blood.

But if the Elduhs direct you to paint the exterior of the Kingdumb Hell (which is brick) with a 2" paint brush, you are not to question, but merely OBEY without question, be submissive, and also SMILE about it while you are at it, because it's all-important to be JOYFUL about not only eating shit, but liking it as well! Don't forget to go back for seconds while you're at it.

I had to laugh at the Questions from Readers in the Dec 2018 article discussing Paul being "taken into the third heaven and caught away to paradise" ( lucky guy ;-) ." The Society gives 3 possibilities and says essentially that Paul may having been "alluding" ( whatever that means ) to one or all of the interpretations. Frankly - they don't have a clue , despite claiming to have Jehovah's spirit and special insight. The whole article is full of "it seems" , "it may have" , "possibly" and numerous other uncertainties.
At least in Fred Franz's day , he was 100% sure of his interpretations , even if it was a load of nonsense.
What about Paul’s mention of “paradise”?
The word “paradise” likewise can mean various things: (1) In view of man’s original home, “paradise” can logically refer to the literal earthly Paradise that is ahead. (2) It can refer to the spiritual condition that God’s people will enjoy in the new world. (3) Additionally, it can refer to the blessed conditions in heaven, “the paradise of God” mentioned at Revelation 2:7.—See The Watchtower, July 15, 2015, p. 8. par. 8.
It is possible that Paul was alluding to all three of those aspects at 2 Corinthians 12:4 when describing his experience.

Yes indeed, that is exactly the WT's golden formula:
1) Summarize a Bible account
2) Add conjecture, suppositions, assumptions, and speculations
3) Impute motives to Jehovah / Jesus / whoever to explain the speculation
4) Impose rigid rules based on items 2 and 3 above.
Lather, rinse, repeat, every week, every month, every year, every decade.

How many times when they get caught doing something wrong in writing or conduct they tell us "Sad to say?" Really, then why say it.
Soon, sooner than we think, near, nearer than we know...what ,than how do you know it? Shortly, this generation, that generation, first century, our century, anytime now.
Where is George Carlin? He could spin it all for them. He was the Master of word play.

Solzhenitsyn:
Oh Happy day! You're doing great, going slow and steady, letting her reach conclusions when she's ready and saying just enough to catalyst her thinking but not too much.
