I discovered bikes in my late 20's, then sold the car and never looked back. I've had many bikes, even dispatched for 12 months when I was desperate, but my ultimate favourite - so far - is my current bike Suzuki Bandit 1200 an absolute hoot. So much grunt it could pull caravans

What the heck Jayhawk1, you're a nice guy.
We won't let this 'happy' thread flop.
OK, I don't have a motorbike, motorcycle.....but oh how I wish I did.
What would I get?
Harley Davidson or an Indian.
(dreams of winning the lottery) varoom!

I think that you should all sell your motorcycles and give the proceeds to further the worldwide work of the Jehovahs Witnesses worldwide assosiation of Brothers. (tm)

My first bike was a Suzuki 185 street dirt...too small!!! so I sold it.
Then I bought a Honda 350 ...nice, but.. tooooo small !!! so I sold it.
Then I met my future husband and together we bought a
750 Yamaha low rider from I nice fellow. When I went to pay him and drive it home he said, "Where is your husband? Who will drive it home?" I said, "My husband, doesn't even have his motorcyle license yet. I'm the driver." He said, "You surely can't drive that bike." I said, "Watch me".. and off I went.
750 Yamaha lowrider... loved it... but I think it was just a bit too big for me ...
The low rider part was great for my 5'4" frame.. I could touch the ground..
The bike fell over once, on loose ground. I was SOOO MAD.. I lifted it up all by myself.
Had that bike the longest time.. it was great.
sincerely

I couldnt see the pic - what kind of ride is it?
I started with a 1100Vstar this spring and ended up with a HD Roadstar - what a year! In fact it is 32 degrees out side and I think I am going for a ride this morning
