Joanna, I am an old country music lover, and Celine hardly falls into my kinda music, but I think her voice and delivery are wonderful, not to mention here obvious beauty. I've seen others who can't stand her for some reason and it just has this old man standing around scratching his head and wondering why. Bug
Well LT gets bonus points. This month's Rolling Stone, with a very nekkid Britney on the cover (bet that got a few posters attention *looks at Simon*) features The Darkness, as a new up and coming band to watch.

Rasputina. They are not new by any means but they never play their stuff on the radio, I am going to go see them in October. I LOVE THEM!
They are three chicks who play cellos. But before you wrinkle your nose, it's like hard rockin cello. Alternative chamber music if you will. Plus their lead singer Melora Kreager has a very wacky sense of humor, I dig it.
