That paragraph on blue jeans brought back some painful memories. I wasn't allowed to wear blue jeans to school during the height of the hippie anti-establishment anti-war revolution woodstock era. "True christians would not dress so as to be confused with such people" was the argument not only from my parents but from the elders.
AWAKE! asks, are we Slaves of fashion?

This is one of the best covers that the WT has ever done. It's pretty elegant. Minimalist style. I know that there are some that doesn't like it. To put such an importance on fashion.. whether we are slaves of it or not...is stupid.

Caption time anyone? Below is the Jehovah-approved fashion sense. Note the absence of ties. Florals and paisleys are also passe. Does this mean we can anticipate some "new light" on the matter?

It's amazing what the WT wastes their time on. God forbid they write an article discussing how they covered up 27,000 child abuse cases.
God help the JW that walks up to my door with this bull---t.

Gloves are in this season, though.
Nina, you are a woman after my own heart.
I love fashion too, but I'm a rank amateur.
I did, however, just purchase a counterfeit Prada sample on ebay.
