@Simon - Wish I could have given more than just one thumb up.
I really enjoy being in the 10 items or less line with my two or three items behind some jack-wad with a cart (trolley) full of sh-t and say in my most sarcastic voice, "Oh look! a math major that cannot read! Or are you a language major who cannot count?"
The funniest reply to being cussed at for pointing out rudeness was form a friend of mine, a long time ago, this woman ( yes, I was surprised ! ) called him a wanker, he replied:
