  We have been fans of johnny for a very long time. What an American original. I always fetl so touched ot hear him sing "ira hayes" . he truly was singing for the sad and loney and those living in the hopless part of town. he will not be forgotten. Sob, bye johnny,

  I was so sorry to hear about John Ritter. He seemed so perenially young and funny. Only 54. I felt extremely sad to hear that he basically died from an unknown heart ailment/defect. Guess even the rich can get overlooked (or overlook) something that may bring them down to soon.

  I just saw the music video for "Hurt" for the first time last night...WOW!

  I have to agree...I am sort of partial to this version...no slaggin Trent...that man is a god and I would gladly spawn his children...but the rasp in his voice when he sings, "Everyone I know goes away in the end" gave me shivers...and the look in his eyes during the video...also loved how the video ended with his very old hands smoothing the cover over the piano keyboard...very powerful images I thought.
