  I thought this might be a fun "fluff" thread. Someone posted the other day that Marc Anthony (the singer) is their cousin.

  I have done extensive genealogy research so I know a few famous relatives.

  Frank Gifford = 3rd cousin

  Also in my ancestry: Benedict Arnold, Aaron Burr, Grover Cleveland, Nathan Hale, Lydia Pinkham (inventor of Lydia Pinkham's medicinal compound), Queen Victoria (a very distant 14th cousin, so lots of other royalty very very distant), Roger Conant, the founder of Salem Mass. Princess Diana's maternal grandmother was a 2nd cousin of my mother (she was an American married a Brit).

  I also found the name Storrs in my background and found George Storrs, but can't see how he links to our family. I have lots of famous Puritan and Congregationalist preachers in my background. My hubby says it figures the way our family was so weird with religion...................lots of Quakers and Christian Scientists too.

  I found out Fred Franz is related to me through some Neandrathal links. Now I know why I too.....talk to my damn brown shoes!

  Seriously though.....could you provide a link where we can find our ancestors? All the ones I've seen want money.....and I'm a tight Bastard!

  Supposedly I am related to John Q. Adams. Some how it plays out, I never get that family tree stuff figured out.

  I related to the Puerto Rican singer Marc Anthony by marriage...he and my wife are first cousins. I've never met him though I do email with his sister quite often.

  Interestingly, 98% of Brits can legitimately claim William the Conqueror as an ancestor. This is because once you start back-tracking, 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great grandparents etc., by the time you get back several hundred years you have more ancestors than the total number of people who have ever lived.

  The only answer is that a lot of intermarrying went on, so that one person could well be a cousin and an auntie at the same time.

  My claim to fame is that my great grandfather played football for Crewe Alexandra.

  Mike, since I am about 95% British ancestry, I am one of them. I've got it authenticated back to good ole William.

  There is a show in Branson, Missouri called "Presley's Mountain Magic". They are my 2nd cousins. Interestingly, our neighbor dated one of their boys when she was in high school. Small world.

  Supposedly I am related to the actor Clint Walker. But my mother told me this, and she was notoriously weird. If I am, he would be my 3rd cousin. This is his bio:
