I have to agree with Tink--it is hard to describe yourself...I guess I'm a cynical smartass, generally cranky, with bouts of brooding.

I don't think of you as being angry, bitter, or racist, teejay.
I'm (slightly) less curmudgeonly in real life.

The only difference between me here and in real life is that I'm more reserved in real life... I'm a bit more shy around people I don't know very well. But once I feel comfortable, I let all hell break loose.
Oh yeah, one other thing... people don't call me Doc in real life.

teejay,
the only hmmmmm part of your description is the "hypocrite" otherwise you sound fascinating and fun.
Personally, I've been described as fun, wild, unpredictable, sexy as hell, exotic, mysterious, I just asked my husband and got sexy, crazy, curvy, and vertically challenged at 5'3" and fun again, and entertaining...

I see myself as a peacemaker, but I also occasionally like to stir things up in my world...................settling problems, telling my JW mother things I find out about the dark side of JW's, or baiting a conversation to get it going the way I want it to, etc.
I am agressive and have no problem speaking my mind and asking for what I want. My motto is "if you don't ask, you get nothing"................well, not my motto, but I believe that statement. So, I will ask a waitress to substitute things, or I will ask a sales person for something they aren't offering, an upgraded seat at a show, or if I have a late return video, I ask them to not charge me the late fee, and they don't. I have also called credit card companies and asked for a lower interest rate, and they give it. What have you got to lose? All they can say is "no".

I think I have a mix of my "offline" persona with my "online". I mean, I do type what I would say if somebody was present...but the hardest part about "online" is NO voice inflection and facial expressions. I use those tools often to get a point across, and I use irony and sarcasim to do it.
I think I'm a bit more "light hearted and cheerful" offline than online. I tend to tease and joke more offline than online as well.

Well....to be objective about myself...
I am a peace-maker...yet I have my boundaries so that now I won't let others trample on me.
After raising two kids and living with an alcoholic husband for toooooo many years...I look after myself first now....so people might think I'm selfish.
I do what I want now...so people might think I'm selfish....
To some people...Ballroom dancing might seem like a terrible waste of time, yet it fulfills a deep artistic passion inside me....I am positively driven by this fire in me...to dance.
I won't let myself be diverted from my passion any more....I will dance!!!
My Latin Dance Lessons start a new season on Friday...this time I have my verrreee own dance partner!!! WooHoo!!!
