  RF My dad paid a lot of money over the years, for same and similar publications. AlanF's estimate sounds accurate.

  Auction them off and split the proceeds between your friend and your favourite DB

  Hmmm. Well Hes already said he will give them to me and told me to give him "whatever I want to" for them. I certainly havent any intention of giving him 1200 US or anything like it. He would refuse if I offered him more than a tenth of that I think. Maybe after Ive obtained them I can sell them on EBay myself, and retire. Hard back books are becoming redundant anyway, other than as collectors pieces. I hear most of the juicy stuff is available on CDs now like "Rutherfords rainbow". Not that most people would be interested in reading the material if they had it. Lol.
