    Some hot news:

Last weekend was a convention in Frankfurt, Germany and 11 other locations. All were connected to the international convention in Berlin.

In sum about 94.000 attended. In Frankfurt were 22.000 attendees, 144 baptised (0.65% growth). About the half came from the 6.000 russian attendees, so it's just 0.5% growth for the germans alone.

After the ending prayer at day 1 (friday) the Russians started a song over the sound system and began to sing it.

This was not approved by bethel, so it was forbidden to repeat it on saturday.

But the German brothers and sisters didn't leave it on that and rebelled against bethel. So they used social media to organize it on their own. On sunday after the ending prayer someone started to play a trumpet in the stadium. All Germans started to sing 2 songs - all without approval from bethel. The convention bureau couldn't do anything against this practism.

I wondered that JW disobeyed so open against bethel. The folks organized it on their own via whatsapp and facebook. It was like a demonstration against the goverment body. And all over 16.000 Germans joined in.

So your saying that the Russians first sang a song that was not approved by Bethel and a day later the Germans also sang a song not approved by Bethel ?

And were these patriotic songs ? One from Russia ? and the other Germany ? Do I understand this right ?

And both of them defied the Governing body`s direction .

If your claim can be substantiated that this did indeed happen it is very interesting to say the least.

    Can anyone verify this ?

Although I can’t confirm what happened in Germany. But I can say that we had a DO in this country who used to make those in attendance sing 2 songs at the end of each assembly. Needless to say it didn’t last long before wt shut it down. Merve King was his name (an Australian). Really nice guy to. I remember him saying “think swerve and you won’t miss Merve.

Singing Kingdom songs, doesn't sound like being rebels.

Guarantee you this will be held up as how much love the russians have for Jah, and how much support the germans have for their russian brothers and sisters. Which it probably is.

Not like they all broke out to a chorus of Der Kommissar.

    It was obviously Kindom songs..

Why did the Germans do it after the Russians, even though it was forbidden? Was it kind of competition/being jelous to Russians?

Also being connected to Berlin means there were no speakers in Frankfurt at all? Did the Russians got just a translation for all of the talks?

I can confirm that the convention I went to in Germany last weekend was indeed connected with the international convention in Berlin and with 11 others, with a stated combined attendance of 94,000.

I didn't hear any songs being sung though.
