Don't follow the political threads, they give me tired head. In my most humblest of opinions, the liberals are as bad as the conservatives. A pox on all houses.
On top of which I'm a little guy and grown up threads get way too intense for me. I much prefer the people threads. That's my comfort zone.

I pay scant attention to such arguments and threads. I don't enjoy seeing people battle, and I try not to involve myself in them. I think I get along with everyone here, and I intend to keep it that way.
I do see though how strong feelings and convictions can be expressed and sometimes need to be. I've backed down sometimes because I just don't do well in such discussions and I don't wish to get upset and emotional, but I guess some folks need that and perhaps feel that makes for an interesting board, and I think it does indeed do that at times - I just prefer to not get involved, but that's just me.

OTOH, it's kinda fun to debate sometimes IF people can stick to the topic and avoid personal slurs and name-calling.
As for fighting and pushing each others' buttons, man, there's enough of that in the world already. Why waste the energy? When the debate turns to mud-slinging and insults, I'm outta there.

Sword of Jah can push a few buttons in my spirituality department, but I stay away from politics and the other flame wars because I just don't have strong feelings either way. Like Big Tex, I like the people threads.
