Sounds like a lot of good suggestions. It seems to be true that the "squeaky" wheel gets the grease. Don't let up; can you get others to bug the the hospital for you, too?

I see you tried hiding it in his favorite food.....hmmm, Is there a shot the doctors can give him all at once? I can't believe that this child has not been admitted to the hospital for IV med's. I imagine that he may need to be restrained. Did you say he has been sick with this for three years? That is criminal imo as far as his doctor is concerned. Consider getting media attention. This little boy sounds like quite a handful. I hope that you have help at home and some time to yourself. It is such a rotten disability. I am sorry that you go through this. I don't know what else to say to help.
I don't know what else to say to help.
Just replying helps, helps keep my fuel going.
I think the I.V is the only option left.If he has to be held down by restraint..so be it.Sometimes a person has to go threw unpleasant situations to get better.
(((((shera and son))))))
sending you well wishes!!!!
I seem to remember walnut extract for worms in children. Have you ever heard of it?
You are just a terrific mom, gosh, I wish I had your strenghth and persistence!
I will keep your little man in my prayers.
I deeply sympathize with you -- what an ordeal you are going through! Jennie has always been horrible about taking medicine, but she will take a pill so we taught her how to swallow them when she was very young. I still have nightmares about the liquid Triaminic days. I don't have much knowledge about autism, but is it possible (throwing out all child care books in the process) to bribe him to take the pill?
You're in my prayers, and your sweet son too.
Love,
Nina
(((((Shera)))))) No advice to give, but plenty of hugs and support!! I think it's great to see a Mum who cares so much about her child, especially when you're doing it on your own (I think?)
<---- bunches of flowers for you
Let us know how things go. I can't imagine what stress you must be going through right now.
Can't offer much advice, my kid is easy to give meds to, he has a jejunostomy tube. Trouble with that is, when he gets
the shits, his bowels shut down completely for a week. Then it's the slow process of getting it all working again.
But I know a few kids with Aspergers and I can imagine the fun your having with him.
We have found over the years that when it's your kid in hospital, sometimes you have to make a hell of a lot of noise. Keep
banging away at the staff, eventually you'll find someone that knows what to do.
Thinking of you

Wow I can't add to much to this that has not already been said, but I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and your son. Keep venting we are here to listen..it is exhausting to you trying to do it by yourself. I have a chronically ill child, but she at least was always complient. Keep your strength and keep us posted how it is going.
