the word "Scotch" only applies to whiskey and eggs
I thought real Scots spelt it 'whisky'?

Yeah, Scotch Whisky is spelt without the 'e', Otherwise it is Irish. I will admit to not being a fan of either the drink, or the egg!
Good to see so many fellow Scots on here! I stay in Edinburgh, love it here. From Grangemouth congregation originally. My parents and family are still there.
