Ironically i too had a bill when i left that i didnt pay.... you know what they did? They sent a letter to my PO lol.... no i never paid it and he even laughed (it was small, 20 bucks or so). His words were “put it in the contribution box when you get a job”. Bastards.

In most cases even if you are reproved or disfellowshipped they give you some time to collect your belongs and make arrangements. If you're reproved they may give you a week or so to make your arrangements, DF'ing I have heard they are more firm on the week requirement that you depart. You can stay there your just not going to work or morning worship, the idea is your spending that time to pack and get ready to leave.

If you leave on your own they request that you give 30 days notice and for the most part those that are being dismissed due to them no longer being needed they are giving them at least 30 days to get their affairs in order. Also most bethelietes unless your going in from SKE is only being accepted as long-term temps with an expiration for 1, 2 or 3-year terms so you know that at the end of your term they may or may not extend you.

For the commissary, there is a little computer where you put in your Bethel ID number and the cost of the items that you are purchasing. That gets added to your monthly expense account. The account can cover anything from vehicle maintenance to gas purchased at the gas pump to your cell phone if you're using their corporate TMobile account. The account also includes your credits such as reimbursement for travel to and from meetings, assemblies, and conventions.

Oh my god........this reminds me of a funny story. I had a friend that used to work on the 'wrappers'. That was the machine that used to wrap the magazines to be sent out to individual subscribers. At any rate, my friend had the habit of using 'unchristian' language while working the machine. Just his luck, he was assigned a 'newboy' to work on his team. A more self righteous prick you could not find. He would carry the bible and an AID book to work every morning and he would whistle and hum Kingdom Songs all day long. My friend didn't take kindly to the 'newboy's' musical repertoire and would swear at him from time to time and tell him to stop. If it was the 'newboy's' turn to be the feeder, he would shut off the machine and immediately lecture my friend and then report to the Factory Overseer my friends grave moral sins. My friend complained to me about it and my advice was as follows: 'Just bide your time. This guy is a moral loose cannon and his self righteous exterior is to cover over something. He'll be gone soon...just wait and see.' Well I'll be God damned! He came in one Monday morning with no bible, no AID book and musical repertoire. But he went to work! After lunch, he was no where to be found. He was gone! Apparently he had been having sex with a 13 year old girl in his congregation and was disfellowshipped that Sunday night. Word didn't get back from the congregation to the Bethel office until some time that morning. Once the Bethel Office found out, he was HISTORY. Out of the building before 5 o'clock that evening. It couldn't have happened to a more deserving little prick. I know of at least 2 others (1 a BETHEL Elder) that this happened to. Thanks for jogging my memory....it was good for a laugh!

If you went out to the city and got into trouble for something, even if you happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and it wasn't your fault but it put wt in a bad light, out you went.

I saw a few buddies marched out the quick way. Usually over the weekend.

Then "This is to inform the Bethel family that _____ who was serving at _____ is no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses and left Bethel on MTWTF MM/DD"

I am only speaking on how I was treated when I was dismissed following a JC. I was given some time to get my affairs in order to get back home.
