Mike.
I'll put the thumbs down, coz...well...nevermind
Oh, Rayzorblade worked on cars?
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Surprise, surprise....despite any psst...psst...I have worked on cars/trucks etc., for a number of years, and the WORST transmission I ever had to change was on a 1976 Chrysler Newport: Goddamn!
I used to do all sorts of odds n' ends on cars: I know...everybody faint.
I had a 1978 Chevrolet Impala (350/4bbl).
Not your typical wussy car Bendrr.....and Camaros/Firebirds/TransAms were one of my favourite cars.
Anyways....next post....
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, the good old days when car engines only had 3 moving parts and a coffee can. Lots of room to work on them. I have a 93 chevy lumina that has to go to the shop just to change the battery. There is so much junk under the hook half of it needs to come out to replace anything. My dream car is a 1965 cherry red mustang.
My second car was a 4 dr. Ford 6 cyl, 1953 model. I bought an Olds. V8 1957 motor, 4 bl carb and installed it in the car, with twin glass packs. It had a 4.11 rear end with an overdrive. At 100 mph it was turning 5000 rpm in regular drive but only 3000 in overdrive. I drove it to Calif. a couple of times from NC and it would cruise great on those open roads.
I had a 1965 Ford Mustang in 1973, with a V8 that I enjoyed also.
Now I just like a quiet, smooth running, dependable car with a good radio. My 1994 Olds does just fine. I only paid $2800 for it and it looks new.

If anyone is interested in restoring autos, I have a 1959 Oldsmobile 88 that I would like to see get a new home. It would be considered in 'fair to good' condition, and has been stored in a machine shed since 1980.
I loved my Camero....1996, manual transmission, V-6....T-top....Red. Great car!
I've always liked new cars. When my baby (1998 Rav4) was totaled, I was forced to buy an old car. It's ugly. Old Camaros are quite lovely though. . . glad your gettin' it fixed up Mikey.
bendrr... I didn't understand hardly anything in your post... LOL
I don't know much about cars... but I love my 99 GTP. Actually I'm going to change the oil today. That's about all I know how to do. Oh yeah, spark plugs are pretty easy too.
Talley, can you deliver?
