Finished my trip to interview the guys that came back from the war...some of the interviews were pretty intense. Most of these guys came back in mid July so most of their comments about what's going on in Iraq are dated...but, they said as a whole the Iraqis were glad we took out Saddam.

I met and interviewed a Chaplain Assistant with three confirmed kills...makes me take my job a bit more seriously.

I was wondering how many you run across that ever feel the US action was pointless? Do any soldiers say they wished they hadn't participated had they to do it over again?

I've met no one who has openly said this...though I know they exist...I've read about them in the Papers. The ones I talk to seem to know why they are (were) there...and know they are doing something good for Iraq...and the world.

I was watching Country music videos today and hear that Gary Allen song, about " Touch Little Boys", and it showed all the military men holding pictures of their daughters and then reunited in hugs with them at the end. The look on their faces , the expressions were priceless. I really do thank all the military men and women who sacrifice not only their lives for our country, our freedom, but the time they are away from their precious families.

How is your family, I have wondered how your wife is doing , hope things are going ok. I have been busy here lately and havent kept up with the board as I once did,,,,,,I am trying to get back to replying and reading more here.
