Awwww. Thanks! Nice to see my little bird friend can keep a secret. On my birthday yesterday, I met Shunned Father here in Edmonton, which was really cool. (I did not want to take attention away from him, so I kept the BD stuff to myself). I was blessed on many levels yesterday. My mom called from Burnaby, BC and sang me happy birthday "And many mooore....", my dad and stepmom tried to catch me early enough, but I was already out and about Sunday morning. They left me a card in the mailbox, and we talked later on the phone. Concerned Mama (aka Little Bird) got me a card and some CD's of my favorite music. My boy called, "Really? It is your birthday today? In that case, Happy Birthday to you, you live in a zoo..." My daughter tried to hook up, but that busy young mom found out I was already fully occupied for the day.
I have several nice cards lined up on my shelf, and even my honey found a little doodad we can both enjoy (not celebrating the Pagan you-know-what, mind you).
