I had occassion to have a conversation with my good friend xenawarrior last weekend and seeing as everyone knows I know everything *LOL* she asked me a question, but alas, I couldn't answer, for once in my life...*LOL*... Anyway, why do people put ads in the classified section thanking St. Jude or St. Mary, or any number of Saints for things? It almost reminds me of making an invocation or something, but nevertheless a quandry. Anybody got an idea or an answer?

Oh and um...thanks for everything St. Jude! *LOL*

    Sincerely,

    Valis,

They are just trying (in vain) to get Brownie points in God's book. Just like the rest of them. And I don't mean the chocolate variety! Or do I?

    Hey Valis,

Sorry about posting the spoiler right away. I'll ask Saint Jude to send you lots of replies. I'll even run an add in the paper.

Visit Smiley Central! "Please St. Jude, You gots to help me out here..."

Well, then maybe a better question now is if any of our good Catholics have or would even consider doing such a thing?

Spann...they are probably popping up through the embedded page...poor Spanner...

Spanker.....you notice the page in the second post to this thread? It is embedded in her post. and since it displays the webpage and all its bells and whistles, the pop up ads are no different. Don't make me come over there!

*LOL* Seven, just make sure its a real big paper OK? I mean at least the National Enquirer if anything...

    Sincerely,
