"There have been apostates for decades, nearly a century ... but now *I* am going to speak and get things done!"
Newsflash: it's all been said, been done, been tried. There is no magical phrase that you can say to convince anyone to listen to you when they won't listen to anyone before. It's pure luck if you catch someone at the right time but as Gary Player said when someone said he was lucky to win all those tournaments "yes, and the amazing thing is the more I practiced, the luckier I got!"
Refine your arguments, learn to present them well and in a reasonable way and you will stand more of a chance of being convincing.
I think starting with an ego that you have all the answers and can do what no others have done can potentially come across in the message.
