Gosh...After reliving the past while reading the itinerary, I don't know whether I should hurl or sit on my watch. I think I'll hurl on my watch.

Yeah, just another money making scam. I remember going to assemblies and there was always a deficit. They always needed money even though our circuit had some of the richest congregations in the city. One time they remodelled the whole assembly hall at a cost of 1M dollars which had to come out of the brothers pockets again. Where was the Society when we needed them? What about all those funds which supposedly went into the Kingdom Hall building fund? Apparently, even those funds are not given away by the Society. They are loaned back to the brothers with interest. So the Society collects money from the brothers and then loans it back to them and charges them interest on it! Great scam, the mafia couldn't have done better. Glad to be out of it now.

thanks guys for all your posts. The attendance numbers I usually keep updated, attendance has dropped this year.
I was surprised by the deficit of $11,000 too. Now I know why the accounts are announced at the beginning of the afternoon session.
Number baptized was fairly static, no real increase. An 11 year old boy was one of them.

Apparently, if we are leading a double life and/or practice sin wilfully, Jehovah will not bless us in the ministry, and all attempts to preach will fail.
Ah, the reason why I never was able to convert anyone!! Well, thank goodness for leading a double life!!
