  G'day all,

  It's been a festive weekend for us. We're down in Canberra right now at the home of Mr and Mrs Bliss.

  The Freedomfest went great and right now Mrs Bliss is "in a huddle" with a fomerly zealous sister bringing her up to speed on judicial procedures. Mrs Ozzie's reading and we're just enjoying this cosy home.

  But we mustn't forget the poll! We were talking about this last night and we were reminiscing over this topic, which is.....................

  Where did all the quickbuild leftovers go?

  1. P.O.'s backyard

  2. Sold and donated to the Worldwide Work

  3. Sold and donated to the luckiest elder fund

  4. Distributed to the widows and orphans

  5. Given to the brothers in Africa so they could build KH and not have to swim through crocodile-infested rivers

  6. Brother So-and-so suddenly got a new sunroom

  7. Sold, but what happened to the money?

  8. Given back

  9. Donated to another congregation for their quick-build (yeah, right!)

  As one person who stayed away from quick builds---- to much hard work for Cas.

  Only went in my teens to chat up the young sisters, they would last about 5 mins with me, get bored of me and then quickly volunteer to clean the mens toilets (saying anything was better than talking to Cas Jeeeeeez.)

  6. Brother So-and-so suddenly got a new sunroom

  On the Sunday afternoon there was a huge pile of things left over, and everybody was like scavangers. I've never seen so many elders move so fast to grab things. I made a quick move and ended up with the job of replastering and tiling my friends bathroom. All the money was meant to be put into the contribution box, but of course no check could be made on this. Oh yeah, I got offered one of the marques too. I wish I'd taken it now, it would have been great for an apostafest!

  The PO in our congregation never put his car in his garage because it wouldn't fit. You see, he had it full of 'left over' materials from the quick build. His garden looked alot better after the quick build too!!!!!
