When someone writes "I am suppose to" or "I use to do that". Put the 'd' on the end of those words, people. That common error drives me to distraction!

People with strong opinions on subjects they don't understand.

People who claim to be discriminated against on the basis of attributes that are completely within their control.

People who exhibit an attitute of unreasonable entitlement. No one owes you an expensive wedding/birthday/baby gift, just as no one is owed a fancy dinner at a reception or free drinks at a party. On a broader level, no one owes you job satisfaction or relationship fulfillment.

People who the wrong direction through parking lot lanes, then expect you to let them have the parking space becoming available that they'll have to back up and turn 5 times to even get into.

People who wear clothes that may be trendy and cute on someone who is 17 and a size 6, when they are anything but. Just because it comes in your size doesn't mean you should wear it.

Parents who say "I can't control what they do" when discussing their children's ridiculous behavior. You are the parent for God's sake, act like it. I can damn well control the clothes and make-up my 12 year old daughter will wear, believe you me.

People who pipe in with "Oh I know just what you mean, my dogs do the same thing" when you're discussing your children.

The way actors in infomercials make simple, mundane, everyday tasks seem insurmountable in order to demonstrate how much easier their product will make their life. I swear to god, if I see one more actor shake his fist and stamp his foot after draining pasta in a regular collander or watch one more woman give an exaggerated sigh before throwing her regular non-motorized hairbrush accross the room in frustration I'm going to take a hostage.

Apparently, I could go on all day about things that tick me off....I hate it when people do that!

I worked for Social Services for several years. I saw how easily it can be manipulated. I have no problem with anyone collecting welfare checks or food stamps if they have a legitimate reason for doing so. The ones that peeve me are those who expect our government to hand them everything without working for it. It comes out of my taxes, and I don't like the idea of losing money out of my wallet so I can support lazy bums who have learned how to "work the system".

Harley's. Obscenity deleted. It wouldnt be so bad if every middle aged person in a crisis these days didn't go out and buy one. If I decided my hobby was to stand on the street corner with a jackhammer or scream through a bullhorn I'd probably be fined or asked to leave, but these idiots can ride around all day deafening people. Ever see easy rider? Remember when Peter Fonda got a shotgun to the face from the oncoming truck while on his bike. I'm not a violent person but I have that fantasy often lately.
