I’m wondering what else has been altered / left out from the previous revision(s).

I noted that in Matthew 24: 35 where Jesus stated, "Truly I say to you that this generation will by no means pass away until all these things happen." the cross-reference to Exodus 20: 5 in the 1984 edition which states, "...bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation..." was deleted. Can't have the Bible contradicting the governing body's nu-lite explanation of what a generation really is, now can they?

The 2013 NWT removed most of the cross references. It's a stretch to read too much into any particular cross reference that was removed, simply because so many were removed.

There were certainly "embarrassing" cross references in the old NWT that seemed to run counter to JW teaching. Such as cross references that identified Jesus and Jehovah. The NWT committee probably relied on cross references from other available version and amended them as they wished, rather than creating them from scratch. So a few inconvenient cross references slipped the net.

Shunning doesn't hold up if they leave John 8: 1-12 in the NWT.
What's next, delete the 'golden rule'?

I think the second reference in Acts that was removed was for the same reason - it doesn't fit the model. That account (if you read the context) is referring to a small gathering for a meal on someone's home - it is not referring to a congregation meeting.

Why was this revised? Because in 1950-1960 the guys were perverts

Okay Lev 26: and numerous other texts in the 84 used DOUGY IDOLS

Jerm 5 speaks of horse with strong testicle... not in the text

1 Samuel 14: has Jonathan and his man come out exposing themselves to the Philistines.

Jesus is IMPALED in the 84 version.. I would rather be crucified.. seriously.. that is so sick it's worse then the bible...

In 2 Kings 18 humorously Elijah tells the bad prophets that Baal is shitting...not in the text.

    All this has been changed.

When ocean itself is salty, there is no point in asking why one particular drop is salty. Bible is hung on the thread that God chose a nation as His own terming others as pagan (OT) and God exalted one of His children over the rest of children (NT)--something that is impossible for God to do (Deuteronomy 10:17; Romans 2:11)
