Ok so i just had opportunity to be briefly in the company of 6 jw women who had just come from their “annual meeting” viewing (picking my daughter up to get her away from that hell).

They were typically estatic about the event, a few admitting to dozing off etc etc but their reaction to the cut backs was telling..

they loved it. They all remarked how much they hate feeling obligated to read new mags all the time and were glad that obligation was being removed. One remarked the year book wasnt nessary since all the good experiances were now on the monthly broadcast. They all quickly agreed watching tv was far better than reading anyway..

there you have it. Thats how the wt dies. To sounds of cheering and applause as it becomes televanglialisum

Sorry if I have not made myself clear Morpheus but I am all in with wt. Whether or not being on this site suggests otherwise is debaitable. FS:

You are not the decidetly all in JW, pioneering when you can, contributing your surplus money.

Wt doctrines are debatable, a rich source of easy pickings. You do not have to quit here to be a JW or quit spending time at the hall to enjoy on this forum.

even the bible has 2 or three worthy verses.

Morpheus, you are entitled to your opinion. I have stated my position to you and I meant what I said. If you have concluded that I swallow any apostate teaching posted here, you are wrong. Respectfully, let me clear up any misunderstandings, whether or not wt is laughed out of existence or wt is wiped out out of existence, I am no Judas, I am with wt. What you feel or interpret or conclude about me is entirely up to you and has nothing to do with the subject matter being discussed. If you want to discuss the topic, I may reply to your post but if you divert the subject matter of the thread into remarks about me and what I should be doing, I have nothing more to say to you.

Oh no no fisherman.. its easy and wrong for you to make this “my opinion”. I was quoting YOUR own wt teachings and principles and you know it very well, former bethelite just like me and all....Nice try though

Let's just accept that this forum is open to all who follow the rules.

There is no rule forbidding JWs from posting here; in fact, I think it is a very healthy sign that there are no exclusions based on religious affiliation. In that regard, we have the ethical "edge" over most, if not all, pro-JW sites who bump off anyone who even seems like a questioner.

Fisherman is not a disrespectful poster so why should he be constantly questioned about his "credentials" as a JW? It should be enough that he has made himself clear.

I can understand his being asked by posters who don't know him, but to pursue him, thread after thread by those who have taken him to task on earlier threads appears mischievous and distracting from the thread at hand.

BTW, I am an ex-JW who has no vested interest in hearing a pro-JW view - but I will hear it, just as I would hope a JW posting here would hear exJWs views.

Let's not divert yet another thread over another verbal round of questioning a poster about his or her credentials.

Oh boy, here comes steve2 to the rescue again!

Lets review.... nobody on this forum told fisheman to go away. I dont think anyone minds him or said otherwise.

we are however trying to help him see the hypocrisy of posting on a site frequented by apostates in direct violation of his organizations policy on these matters. The purpose? I speak only for myself but i hope perhaps one day fisherman can bring himself to admit that he dosent adhere to wt teachings and beliefs as much as he tries to convince himself he does. He dosent need you to save him from that realization or from anything else for that matter.

So, Morpheus, when is enough enough? When do you decide that you've made your point and so leave someone be? Or is your job to pursue another poster regardless of the thread topic?

Isn't this like some JWs who cannot leave well alone and pursue others with their message?

Sure, you didn't tell him to go - I never said you did. What I did say was there is no rule forbidding anyone who espouses JW beliefs from posting here.

In my view, you have been very clear with Fisherman about trying to help him see the hypocrisy of posting on a site frequented by apostates. I actually agree with you on that point - look at my posting history, and I have said as much to some posters. But I've tried not to pursue them and take them to task at every opportunity. This is also about not hijacking a thread by going over something that appears to have become personal.

And, whilst he doesn't need me to save him from any realization or from anything else, I chose to speak up. Just like others speak up on your behalf.

    Thanks for the link, suavojr.

This may not show up on JW Broadcasting after all, because the last 'live' event we had, the Branch Visit a couple years ago, never made it to JW Broadcasting. Then again maybe that was because of AM the turd's controversial comments about tight pants, bright socks, and that men who aren't ministerial servants by age 23 aren't worth anything.
