There are many well-mannered JWs and XJWs. A few ill-mannered ones/experiences seem to mar the good in our minds. I'm always impressed with manners/respect displayed by young people -- most parents are doing a good job.
Do you mean in the organization, or in the world? Because a whole lot of the parenting in the world is the pits.
IWant2Know -- I agree many parents fall short teaching manners, respect and need help, however, many do an excellent job. I don't think JWs are better mannered/respectful than others -- many people whether Catholic, Baptist, non-religious, whatever, have manners and are leading honorable, ethical, lives.
There seems to be some serious issues in society today. I can't believe what schools, cities, police, parents, etc., etc., are dealing with.
